Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) offers rebates to businesses for the purchase of new commercial light-, medium-, and heavy-duty EVs. Rebates are available in the following amounts:
| Vehicle Class | Rebate Amount |
| Class 1-2b and passenger vehicles | $750 per vehicle |
| Class 3-5 | $5,000 per vehicle |
| Class 6-7 | $7,000 per vehicle |
| Class 8 | $15,000 per vehicle |
